December 12, Shanghai - Bosch, the leading global supplier of automotive technology, exhibits its holistic solution integrating a full range of automotive parts, professional diagnostics tools and a wide service network at the Automechanika Shanghai 2012. This year, full range of Bosch portfolio - Bosch, Beissbarth and Unipoint are present together for the first time in the same exhibition hall. Deepening its service concept of "Parts + Bytes + Service", Bosch showcases its full scale automotive aftermarket business at Booth W1 D01 via iPad as well as the on-site diagnostic service provided at the mock Bosch service shop with a demo car.

"With the recent opening of the first flagship Bosch Car Service workshop in Beijing and the new plant opening of Bosch Automotive Products (Nanjing) next year, Bosch continuously invests in the Chinese automotive aftermarket to strengthen its competence," said Cheng Daniel-siu-wo, Vice President of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket China, "We aim to be a driving force for the development of the Chinese automotive aftermarket and to provide comprehensive solutions to manufacturers, trade partners, workshops and car owners in China."

A Full Range of Spare Parts for Independent Aftermarket and OES

The products displayed this year demonstrate the full range spare parts that Bosch offers. The braking system products include the Best and the Better lines of brake disc for both high-end and medium car models, as well as brake fluid at varied quality levels, meeting various consumer demands. The GBB series (Good, Better and Best) of Bosch wiper also presents customized solutions for all segments. Bosch starters and alternators not only ensure the security, performance and service life to the largest extent, but are also applicable to the majority of mainstream automobiles, as well as construction machinery.

By showcasing the original and remanufactured Starter HCV as well as the remanufactured Diesel Injector 6DL and 6DM, Bosch is introducing for the first time the "Bosch eXchange" concept to the Chinese automotive aftermarket as a fast, convenient and efficient alternative for original spare parts. Following standardized industrial processes, a Bosch eXchange product is remanufactured to fulfill a similar function to the original part in an environment-friendly and cost-effective way. Visitors can catch a glimpse of the key remanufacturing procedures by comparing the differences between the dismantled old and remanufactured parts exhibited at the booth. Bosch provides a variety of remanufactured products including starters/alternators, brake systems, gasoline systems and diesel systems, the promising future of remanufacturing in China.

Comprehensive Solutions for Diagnostic and Repair Business

In addition to spare parts, Bosch continuously invests in the development of comprehensive solutions for diagnostic and repair business. As part of the commitment of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in China, Bosch Automotive Products (Nanjing) Co.
